Post subject:  Sites on special ports supported?

Hello,

I have a problem leeching from a test site that I added like this:

1.) https://<some_IP4):4711/phpbb
2.) https://<some_FQN):4711/phpbb

Site, user and subforum add fine but when leeching TL reports "Failed to find messages". The subforums I want to leech from have topics. As far as I understood the FAQ they should be leeched. Other sites are leeched fine.

It's an unmodded phpbb 3.1.7-pl1 so I don't really see what could be wrong - expet the trailing port number. Any ideas what else to check?

"Failed to find messages" usually means that default selectors aren't good. They work fine for 90% of the sites, but some sites have custom styling templates.

For that reason (to support all sites) custom selectors where added.

You most likely just need to add custom selectors as described: http://leecher.freddy.lt/faq.php?expand=faq206

I could only take a look knowing the URL.

Also, maybe the forum doesn't show content (topics) if not logged in. You will then need to save account in "WEBSITES" -> select that forum -> "User" tab (only if really needed, otherwise it will just decrease performance).

Strange, the site is completely stock, even the style. I also have a user added to TL; the user has access to the forum I want to leech. Well, I will have a look at the selectors but I'm surprised a stock phpBB isn't supported out of the box ;)

I can't remember that I saw any stock phpBB while testing actually. No one was really using it.

Could you PM me the URL?

Will add some default selectors for next update. Might be some different problem as well.

Solved.

Several changes in phpBB config (cookie settings) and some tweaks in apache config (virtual hosts) were necessary. Without the SID in the URL TL is leeching the topics flawlessly.
